Old bush vines planted in 1979 on Koffieklip soils in Wellington.

Winemaking:

Whole-bunch pressed and settled overnight. Naturally fermented and aged for 10 months on fine lees in a concrete egg. Filtered and bottled.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh, textural and true to old-vine Chenin character. Pure white stone fruit and fresh melon on the nose, underpinned by a subtle lees creaminess. The palate is calm and quietly confident, carried by well-integrated acidity and a clean, mineral finish. At its peak drinking window.
